why my animated gif not working?

i just uploaded an animated gif to be my avitar but it is not moving?

why?

have a done something wrong?

anyone know how to shrink size of the gif?

Uploaded files get converted to a static image. You have to host it yourself and point to it in your profile if you want it animated.

I guess it's the board software that's doing that. I didn't alter it at all.
