Great Trader: Ericball
« on: May 05, 2005, 10:57:36 pm »
Just wanted to put this out for posterities sake -

Eric was nice enough to send me his tempest boards, from a cab he found,  to try and get my tempest working. I only paid shipping, and he sent them right away.

Very paitient and nice guy! Definately a good person to deal with!

Good to hear that they got to you.  Finding a box big enough to hold them was tricky.  Let me know if they did the trick.

Seemed obvious to me.  I had the boards, but no vector monitor.  (And no way of knowing whether the boards were functional either.)  So I might as well give them (ex shipping) to someone who had the monitor and could use them to possibly resurect a classic.
MAME Projects % completed:
2004 3 sided cocktail cabinet w/ modular CP <25%
2004 Tempest cabinet & CP > 75%
2017 Raspberry Pi Zero W w/ Lakka microconsole 50%
2021 Vertical Bartop - in progress > 80%, 100% functional
