I finally got my Glock 17C

Why the fuss, because you want a quality machine that will perform when needed. Glocks are well known for their quality. It's what many law enforcement uses.
Sometimes it is fun to just target shoot. It's what I do most of the time.
It's like why would someone want a 140hp 2300cc motorcycle (see my triumph rocket iii thread), because it is fun :)

Now I want to try one. My uncle is a Harley riding type in rural Okahoma and he took me shooting when I was 12. It was fun then but I haven't done it since.

Nice Glock, as they all are, there real easy to clean and take apart, that model is similar to my Glock 23. Why did you go with the weaker 9mm opposed to the 40 or 45?
Whats wrong with people haveing a gun MB, just to have a gun for protection is reason enough besides many other reasons and fun things gun owners are into.

Nothing for most, I've got a friend in the Coast Guard and maybe I'll try with her sometime. But we do need to look out for the crazies who rotate guns on their avitar.
