I finally got my Glock 17C
TOK:
M3talhead, is this your first Glock?
I had a Glock 26 and had a lot of trouble getting used to the trigger. First shot is a real long double action style pull, subsequent pulls are short and crisp if you don't let the trigger fully return to its forward position. I always had the first "long pull" shot go left on me.
I knew the 26 was accurate, it was just something I couldn't get used to. I also didn't like the thickness of a double stack for carry in the summer. I sold the 26 and got a Kahr PM-9. It's a much smaller single stack, but only holds 6 or 7 rounds depending on the mag you use. Trigger is double action only, so it has a long pull compared to the Glock, but it is much smoother and I'm more accurate with it despite it being considerably smaller. You might not have the problems with the 17 that I had with the 26 since you have a full sized grip.

Hehe that reminds me of Hans and Franz. "Lookit his poony moscles and his poony 9 milaaameetor. You need to pomp up your poony gon"
(BTW nice Glock MH. FYI the spring on the slide and the clip shows up on airport xray ;))

Classic Glock myth perpetuated by Die Hard (the ceramic Glock). The whole slide and barrel are metal. Only the grip and frame is polymer (and the frame has metal insterts for the slide to move on).
