Xbox PCB hack
« on: November 27, 2002, 02:29:20 am »
Okay, I've used the invaluable search engine to find any xbox controller hack for arcade conversion, but haven't found any results.  Has anyone attempted this, or know of any site that has done this?
I've done a DC pad hack and various PS1 pad hacks strictly for the purpose of fighting games but haven't seen anything for the xbox controller.

Any reply would be cool  8)

if you have ps1 pads hacked... maybe you would like a converter.... cheaper than messing with a pad...

x-arcade makes a xbox adapter for their game stick.

Yeah you should get something like a Madcatz stick and convert it.  The advantage of this as opposed to trying to roll your own from scratch is that the stick(s) on the Madcatz thing are probably analog. Reproducing that analog with your own home-made control will be a really difficult task.

Its been discussed (link below).

If the xbox games you want to play don't involve use of the analog sticks, then go for the playstation  pad converter option.  Otherwise hack the Madcatz xbox pad.
