Is it just me, or are the games shown on the screen wrong?
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

seeing as how I have both games for the 2600 .....

Hmmm, I KNEW Defender was way wrong, and carefully examining the Pac-Man 5200 screen shows that it is the right maze, but someone redrew it and the scoring is wrong. Their redraw made the maze look sharper/more high res than it really way, and made the ghosts look rounder and better.

Back in those days the "screenshots" on the back of the box and in advertisements were usually hand-drawn.

Yeah, I can't believe that no one has figured out a way to beat that copy protection scheme built into the TV sets and implemented by the camera companies.
