196 - You know what Oliver Wendall Jones' hobby is.
197 - You still expected decent movies out of Mickey Rourke.
198 - You found a washed Gummi Bear in your pocket
199 - You had three girls in your class dressed like Pat Benetar.
200 - You wore glazier's glasses
201 - You owned a "French Foreign Legion" cap
202 - In fact, most of your clothes came from Merry-Go-Round
203 - VH1 played videos that sucked, and MTV played videos that ruled. (Now, neither one plays videos.)
204 - Saturday Night Live was consistanly funny.
205 - Late Night was Dave Letterman. Leno was a guest on Carson, which you didn't watch because Dave ruled.
206 - Hacking your way into Cinemax so you could watch a cheesy skin flick.
207 - Crockett and Tubbs were the two coolest people in the universe.
208 - There were only four kinds of drugs -- pot, cocaine, nicotine and alcohol
209 - You could turn on the local news, and actually expect to see 30 minutes of news.
210 - Kids were constantly falling down wells.
211 - Every year saw a new "Nuclear Holocaust Made-For-TV miniseries."

Letterman was on AFTER Carson, on the same channel.

Yep, I used to watch both. This was back when I could still stay up that late. :)

What a brilliant ad campaign... $3 plastic watches that lasted about two weeks selling for $50 each and everybody had to have five of them.

Ever heard of TiVo?  You can still see it all and be in bed by eight.  :)

I tape Conan, Jay, and Dave with my Dual-tuner DVR. Then I FF through looking for the bits I like, skipping the boring interviews. All in the evening.

TiVo Kicks ASS.

When you bought two Tiffany cassettes from a clearance bin at the mall, put plastic tape over the write tabs, recorded 2 Live Crew and NWA onto them, and then removed the plastic tape.

My mother thought I was a huge, huge Tiffany fan.  I don't know if I could name two of her songs.

...too bad the new singer is so terrible, I cannot listen to Velvet Revolver.  The lyrics are nonsensical, you can't understand him anyway, and his voice is burned out and crappy.  It's like they recorded him yelling gibberish alone, and then just mixed it with the instrument tracks later.

I think they should've either used the guy Slash used for his Snakepit C.D's (Eric Dover) or had Duff sing and also brought back Izzy....

I have Duff's solo C.D. "Believe In Me" and I think it's awesome....

Eh, bring back Axl, so what if he looks like Sam Kinison now.

Does he? I haven't seen him in ages.

However I do admit to having seen G'nR not once, not twice, but three times in concert.

I saw them once.  I won some front row seats from a radio station to their tour with Faith No More and Metallica.  I couldn't hear for about two months afterwards.

Axl sounded like crap in person.

I saw that tour. It was in Texas Stadium (where the Dallas Cowboys play) when I saw them. Axl actually did pretty well at that one. It was James Hefield who tanked the night I saw them.

He was on almost every TV show at one point or another.  That guy got more chances than anyone you can think of to be a star and it took him like 40.  He was always on things like The Facts of Life, Hunter, The Golden Girls, etc.

Debbie Gibson was in Playboy?!

There goes my weekend.

Wow, the photographers at Playboy are good.  Somehow they've made her look better than she did when she was 17.  That's some magic.
