Street Fighter II questions
« on: April 11, 2005, 12:26:50 am »
I'd like an "original" SFII cabinet.  But, I think they were all conversions.
If so, what would be considered an Original?

Would it be the same to convert some game to an SFII myself?  Or would that get pricey?

Does anyone see these at auctions and what do they go for?

Is there an auction near Los Angeles any time soon?

Oh yeah...and an early thanks to Paige Oliver who will almost certainly reply.

Best you are going to get is one in a "cut corner" Dynamo Jamma cabinet. That will give you a decent chance of getting a machine that has been SF2 since it was brand new.

But I actually prefer them in a Dig Dug/Kangaroo type cabinet myself though.

I would just try to buy one, converting one will be more expensive. 19" ones were going $100 and less at the St. Louis auction saturday.

Wait, I checked out kangaroo and I liked that style for them too.  Can you point me to a cut corner dynamo so I can check out the shape?

Here is one in a cut-corner Dynamo cabinet.
