Wanted: Monitor for Hang-On upright
« on: March 20, 2005, 02:52:53 pm »
I'm looking for a working monitor for a Sega Hang-On upright game.  The existing one is a 100V AC (original).  I think a 110V standard wont work but I'm not sure... dont know a lot about these.   Any info or leads are greatly appreciated.  Thanks

Most 110 monitors work fine in Sega games, I have a Super Hang On in my basement with a dead original monitor and it drives a standard monitor just fine, and I have owned many other sega games with 110 monitors in them.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

Thanks for the reply and info.  Do you know if the replacement monitor has to be "isolated"?  I dont know the difference... I just want to make sure I get something that will be ok.  Thanks for your help.
