Hi. I'm new to this forum so forgive me if this was covered in a previous thread I missed. I'm building a MAME machine and want to know what type of TV\Monitor to use so I can use an optical gun.

You have to use a VGA monitor in your cab to use an Act-Lab's lightgun. Currently only Act-Lab's gun is the only one that is confirmed to work well with Mame, however you can only use one (No two players).

does this act lab gun works perfect with any gun game in mame? ???
How do newer games run?area 51 and maximum force?
how would these games run on athlon xp 1800 and 1 gb ram?
I might wanna get a gun?

I don't have the gun, but read about it in their web page.

it seems like they have an EXACT list on which game could be run in Mame.....

try the following....
