apparently the latest version of regsvr32 (which i include for you) doesn't always agree with some systems....

go to the microsoft homepage and get the official version or you can alternativley find it in your own system/system32 directory.  

The paintx.dll should properly register with an older version of the program.

       Thanks for the info, how long has this been an issue, did this just happen with the last release, or could this have happened earlier?
