Cheap Frogger in Arkansas (Not Mine)
« on: February 27, 2005, 04:43:18 pm »
Since I missed the Starburst auction yesterday, I was flipping through eBay and noticed a Frogger cab in need of a monitor and some love ... available cheap.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=13716&item=6156632515&rd=1

Now the description looks confused to me, but ... price is right and the clock is ticking ...

Any BYOACer/Frogger fans in Arkansas ?

Cheers,

JAKD

Agree that it COULD go through the roof ... never said it couldn't ...

Am about 50/50 on eBay cabs I've bid on (prefer to see and touch before I buy, but eBay can be convenient) ... half the time it blows up in the final hours/minutes and the other half it is quiet .

Cocktail I am working on now was not bid up at all and I got for my original, minimum, bid (made 4 days before closing and was 1/3 what I would have gone to).

Point  was, and is, that it may be worth watching ...

Cheers,

JAKD

Don't expect this one to go for all that much. It has no monitor, and that also means the guy can't show that the game boards actually work. (Double-whammy!)
NO MORE!!

Point  was, and is, that it may be worth watching ...

That's a good point...
I've been watching & trying to get a working Street Fighter II Champion Edition PCB for a while... they've been going to $50 before shipping for a while.

I took a gamble & bought one "untested"... ug... What was I thinking...

I just picked up a working one for $30 shipped... Good enough for me!

The deals are there, you just gotta watch for them & be patient.

Yeah usually untested on eBay means, "I hooked it up and it didn't work, so I couldn't test it."

It went for cheap only if person doesn't shell out wasted money 4 shipping.
