Newbie Q. - Mame Fullscreen?
« on: October 29, 2002, 10:59:44 pm »
I just got my Eygo 27" monitor, and I can't get MAME to run full screen.  The use hardware to stretch option is gray'ed out in MAME32.  I have a nvidia riva tnt2 card with 32 MB vram in my computer, a 800 MHz p4.  I could swear that with my old pc monitor I could stretch the video without having to change the resolution, but it has been a while.

I would really not like to have to buy a new video card.  Is there anyway to get mame to run full screen?  I'll try other versions of MAME or AdvanceMAME or whatever.

And after ArcadeOS, what is another good front end?  I can only run 640x480, so ArcadeOS is out.  Thanks.

I highly recommend ADVmame for this purpose if you have the patience to configure it =P
