I fell jumping off a retaining wall on my bike and folded my foot backwards.

Healthy enough for the next "challenge". As long as I can still shift, I'm good. ;)
Hey RayB, do you have anyone living close by that's into this? Invite them over to help. Plus you might score some extra parts. Nothing else, recruit someone into the hobby and buy their parts at a reduced cost if they back out. Heheh.

Only collect games in "mini" or caberet cabinets!

Frankly, I think Ken's solution is the one for me. I too have problems moving my 300+ lb Konami cabinet. It was originally going upstairs but I had such a problem just getting it from the garage to the ground floor (up 3 steps) that it's staying there for the unforseeable future.
I'm not a big guy and I don't have any arcade-oriented friends whose arms I can twist. At some point I can get help to move it, but it'll be a process of organizing schedules etc to get people over to my house to help me move it so it's not going to be a spur-of-the-moment move.
I don't have *significant* back problems but my wife does and in my mid-thirties my back just can't take it. I was tweaked out for about 2-weeks after moving the cab into the house and mounting the 21" computer monitor in it.
I hate to say this (for fear that my wife might read it) but I'm thinking that a cabaret cab would have been a better decision than the cab I've got. I've already been working on my own BYO-cabaret plans in my head even though my current cab is nowhere near being finished.

Foreign Exchange Student. You'll get paid too. If you get one from the right country, they might be able to score some cheap parts too.
