Help: Removing Touchscreen Tape
« on: January 17, 2005, 02:39:21 pm »
Does anyone have any recommendations for removing touchscreen foam tape from my WG3100?  I'm tempted to use Goo Gone but I don't want to ruin the anti-glare coating, if it exists.

Thanks for your help.

I use lighter fluid most of the time on commercial arcade monitors. Sometimes if the tape is stubborn, I use acetone.

just be careful using any oil based product (wd40, goo off, lighter fluid)  they can ruin the plastic screen of your monitor.   same with things such as acetone and other thinners.  my suggestion goto your hardware store and get a small bottle of naptha aliphatic solutions
