How about an 'Arguments' sub-forum?
« on: December 28, 2004, 03:37:16 pm »
It seems that for the last few months, every second topic in the 'Everything Else' forum has turned into a flame war. How about a Politics/Sh*t Throwing sub-forum?
I remember a time when Everything Else was full of interesting and humorous posts. Maybe all the electoral banter is still stuck in everyones heads?

I agree, JoyMonkey.  Every post turns into a confrontation of some kind.  This isn't the BYOAC that I have come to know and love over these last 5 years.  If it was this way back in 1999, I probably wouldn't have been around all this time, and I probably wouldn't have a MAME cab either.

The world is a crazy changing place. I think it's reasonably healthy to vent opinions in an area where people sharing a similar interest can gather between looking for trackball solutions.  :)
