Crud, need a pci video card with s-video out
« on: October 13, 2002, 09:47:13 pm »
Went to best buy, got a radeon 7500, took it home, found out my wretched cab comp doesn't have an agp slot (it's an office computer, p3 1ghz with 128megs of sdram, only TWO pci slots!)

So I need a card with nice s-video output that is pci, not agp. Several cards that have s-video only have it in their agp versions and have composite only in their pci, so be sure you know what you're recommending.

I've got a 27" panasonic itching to be played here, help me out!

Here is a decent priced budget Geforce 4 PCI with S-video out.  Should be sufficient for emulation and light PC games.

Hope it helps.

The Act Labs light gun is not supported if you use a tv.  It only works on pc monitors.

This is listed on the faq on the act labs page.

He said "light PC games". I think he meant games that weren't too video-intensive.  :)
