Heh, picked one up at Babbages for $15 new. It sucks, drivers don't work under XP and there is next to no software with native support for it. But it looks great sitting next to my powergloves and VR i-Glasses.

it's supposed to actually be pretty good for first person shooters on a PC

I heard it was absolutely terrible.  a few friends at my school have it and they said it works decently well, but the gimmick factor wears off quick.

well.. i've never tried it myself but it has received some pretty good reviews

its not a light gun...

you could hack it to a trackball and an analog joystick... but your not going to be happy with play area51 with it.
