Need a simple Mp3 large file splitter program

I have an 45-min plus mp3 album that I'd like to split into proper tracks, automatically if possible.  Freeware or full - featured shareware would be a plus as money is tight.  Any suggestions? Thanks in advance, ARCADIAC!

Audacity will do it, not sure about the automatic bit though.
