Star Wars Yoke Rebuild Kit
« on: December 15, 2004, 09:18:06 am »
Greets All....

now that my saga to obtain my Yoke is over I'm busy interfacing/building a cabinet for it for my cab.

In case anyone is interested, I came across this Yoke "rebuild kit" from retrogameconnection.com (his site is being built- I found him on ebay)....

here's the link to his ebay listing w/photos--

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=6134726960&ssPageName=STRK:MESO:IT

It's a bit pricey at $65. (including shipping), but he includes the following--

1 - Brand New replacement gear for up/down movement.

Seriously. Will it fit in my basement or what?

Wow... I may have to grab one of those just in case my yoke goes south in the future.

Thanks for the link.

I just picked up a Star Wars game yesterday and the yoke is a bit sloppy.

I have the manual for the game in PDF and JPG form which shows the exploded views for all of the parts. If you need to see something I can send a page or host the PDF.

Replies sent to all that have requested it.

If you want to host it, that should be ok Silver. I'd host it for all, but am close to my bandwidth limit and am in need of a new host.

The PDF and JPG versions both weight in at 14MB a piece.

...um...now that my kit is on the way I realized I don't have an "Atari Hex Wrench". DOH!

....um....anyone got one I can borrow? or buy?

....or, I guess I can buy a set (the guy I got the kit from pointed out a hex set on ebay)....but if anyone has an extra Atari one I would love to borrow or buy it off ya.

Let me know.

Thanks!
