Simpson's Bowling

I haven't updated my MAME for several versions now, and don't recall having Simpson's Bowling in my version (v0.79) and was wondering if it indeed IS in newer versions, if it's in and doesn't work, if it was in and was taken out, or what exactly is the story on it?

I've heard that in v0.84 it was in, and could be run, but only by doing a few things that seem like they might be feasible, but if it's running in a newer version, I'd like to go that route
