A question

I am thinking of getting an imperial tracball. But later i might want to get an oscar spinner. How would i connect both of them to the same PC.

rig them to the same x acis on the interface you chose to use :) get a mouse from school thet there gonnathrow out becauseits missing a ball ;)

You hook them both up at the same time.

the imperial is a ps2 ball, unless you did some hack.
oscar's spinner are ps2/usb.

Plus imperial into ps2, spinner into usb.

Now, if you plan on using dos (ie can't use usb) then get a ps2 splitter.

I couldn't have said it better myself.

I couldn't have swiped a mouse from school, either.   When I was at school, the Engineering lab had all Sun stations (Sparc's ?) that used the funky optical mouse that needed the reflective grid mouse pad.  I'm sure those would make for a very interesting/difficult hack.  :)

Yes, but both control the screen pointer in windows.  And, thus, control the same player.  Also, windows is set up for only one mouse driver settings in the control panel (I haven't seen XP, though), so AFAIK, you must use the same settings (accel, sensitivity, ect) for both mice.
