anyone tried Happs vinyl laminate?

I'm curious if anyone has tried any of the vinyl laminate material sold by Happ's--how satisfied were you with the overall process, would you do it again/differently, etc.  Also, what would the consensus be on material choice for a early/mid 80's style cabinet:  A, D, or E?

I saw a Centipede machine the other week which had something similar to type A on the small but visible inside edges of the cab.

I purchased 40ft of the Happs Pica 'D' vinyl when it was on sale earlier in the year ($2 a foot) and have refinished a couple of machines with the stuff. It goes on easy and is very easy to work with (sharp xacto knife). It is durable enough for CP's as well.

I would considering purchasing more if it went on sale again, but the regular price of $5 per foot is too much.

Happs doesn't list a thickness for their vinyl.  Was this a factor with respect to the dimension of t-molding selected, or was it a non-issue?  I'd likely apply the vinyl to both inner and outer side panels, which of course doubles the space taken up by the laminate.  I'd just hate to have the t-molding come up short...

The thickness of the vinyl is so nominal that it did not effect the choice of tmoulding that I used.

Another option is vinyl from partsexpress. While the partsexpress vinyl is more cost effective, I'd be inclined to stick with the Happs based on durability and width of the roll.

Unfortunately I am about 3ft short of completing an overlay for a cocktail project and I will be ording some more from Happs.

Vinyl Rocks,  I'm going to use blue vinyl to cover my entire cab. I did a test and it looked pretty nice!!

Very good stuff, highly recommended.  I used pica on all front-facing panels on my cab.
