On the mini pac and galaga cabs...

Those are custom manufactured cabs are they not?

Wonder what was powering them.....an actual board or ?

And what about the artwork....I wouldn't think that would be licensed reproductions.

It leaves me with the impression someone manufactured those mini cabs and brought them to the auction. I didn't think that was allowed....

Any ideas or feedback?

As far as I could tell they were running a MAME frontend (I have seen it before, but can't remember which one).  I THINK those were the cabinets with the note that said more games could be added, but there were so many 39 - in - 1's and other multigame cabs there, I can't remember for sure.  They were cool looking.  If I had the templete, I'd build the kids one...

Plans wouldn't be too hard starting with actual dimensions from jakobud then scaling them somewhat.

I'm workin on a couple of bartops which are going to be modeled after galaga, pacman style however with upright monitors rather than laying back and cutoff below the cp.

I started with the real cab dimensions and worked from there to mod.

Wow! I about crapped (can I say that?) when I saw the picture of the mini's.  Those are cool, and very simular to the ones that I've built.

Someone at the auction told me they went for $1200 each.  Is that correct?
