Is this book supposed to be in color?

I just bought this book and was dissapointed to find that it was in B/W and not in color.  (After seing some of the same images on the website that are in color) Could it be this I just have a bad copy or something?

It's in black and white due to printing costs (much to my disappointment). However, on the CD are full sized, full color versions of every photo and image in the book.
