PCB Mounting Feet
« on: September 30, 2004, 05:12:57 pm »
I've noticed a few people asking about PCB mounting feet and think that this is a pretty good price.  I just ordered 10 sets for about $30.  Pretty cheap compared to other prices.

Nice price, but that shipping is absurd.  I'm sure FedEx is about that price, but for something that small, why is he not just using first class mail... it'd be under a buck easy....

That said, I think im gonna get some anyway heh.
first off your and idiot

I'm with you on that.  If it had been something like $5.00 shipping no matter how many purchased, I probably would have ordered twice as many.

Not as cheap as the $0.98 I just paid for 25 5/16" wooden dowel plugs and the $0.79 for the 20 screws.  ;)

Sure, they're not "official" PCB mounting feet, but if you're just looking for a way to mount loose boards in a wooden cabinet or something, there are plenty of cheaper alternatives to the "real" stuff out there.

If you can't be a good example at least try to be a horrible reminder.

Is the shipping $5.00 for each set ordered?  :o

If so, the guy is nutz!  I'd order a few.

BTW, why are they so expensive on all the sites?  I mean come on, they are at most, a .30 item to produce.  They should sell for about .75/set!  It's not like they are hand-forged out of a block of titanium or anything special... just plain ole nylon!  ::)

$5.00 for the first and $1.00 each additional.  It's a little much for shipping but for actual PCB mounting feet, it's probably the best deal right now.
