Help with Act Labs TV-Out Light Gun
« on: September 24, 2004, 07:29:10 pm »
I purchased the Act Labs TV-Out Light Gun and am trying to get it working on my computer. I attached the gun as instructed:

1) Connected USB cable to computer. Computer detected hardware successfully and installed.

2) Connected hammerhead S-video to my video card's TV-out.

3) Connected S-video cable to hammerhead.

4) Connected S-video to my TV.

5) Enabled TV-out.

Now the problem. The image isn't clear at all, it's black and white and distorted. Regular TV-out works fine but it does not work when hooked through the hammerhead.

Any help would be appreciated. I would like to get it working and not have to return it.

FYI: I am using a P4, 3.0 gig Dell computer with 1 gig RAM and an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro

Thanks!
