HELP! touch screen repair
« on: September 07, 2004, 05:09:47 am »
hi..

i have a TAXAN MicroTouch LCD screen - model: CV620 LCD Monitor

It works (or used to) perfectly, until i opened it up to mount into my jucke box cab!

What happened is there are 2 small wires (orange and grey) which have been disconnected from the main board (see pics).

The screen still works perfectly, except for the touch screen!

I really have no idea where to solder these wires, all i know is they go on the board somewhere!
My soldering skills are quite good, so if know the location to solder, that is no problem..

If anyon has any knowledge of these screens or any help whatsoever, please help me!

cheers
