Good deal on Track Ball?
« on: August 16, 2004, 03:05:15 am »
Hey all, just thought I'd share a good deal on a Wico 3" Track Ball.  The auction ends in 16 hours and there's no bidders... it's at $10 plus shipping.

This isn't my auction and i'm not at all affiliated with this buyer... just thought it was a good deal but already have a track ball.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=13718&item=6112893975&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

Edit: Looks like there's $13 shipping... maybe still a good deal and you can get some fast shipping?  I dunno...

Still seems like a good deal

2x bucks shipped to your door?  GREAT deal.  The best price for a new one I've seen is a 2 1/4 for 26.  This is a 3" for less.  Hopefully someone will snag it

You never know though, when one of these Ebay deals ends up with non-working optics or the bearings and rollers are absolutely corroded.

I bought one that was "tested working" and that's what I ended up with, rusted and only one working optic.

Well!, now I just have to wait, when I get it, I'll give you the results!!

BTW, It was 12.00 bucks of shipping not 9.99, for me it's a cheap price :P

You could use a Opti-pac to hook up the Trackball.

I hacked a mouse.  Easy and quick.  Just get some 24G wire and a six pin Molex connector.  Ten minutes and you're done (if you know how to solder).
