Front End Addition Idea
« on: August 12, 2004, 04:23:20 pm »
Someone's already probably thought of this, but i havent heard of it yet.  So im coining the idea.

Ever wonder how much money you actually spend trying to pass a game back in the day?  Only to make it to the last level and realize you needed just one more quarter to finish it?
I would like to propose a software addition to Front End programmers, that would display a on screen overlay on your game of how much money you have actually spent playing the game as you go.  (Just for kicks basically), so that you can check out how much money you would have spent after that hour long gaming session.  Just a running total in a dollar amount that would count how many credits you put in and multiply that by a quarter (or however much the game costed).  I know i've spent over 10 bux once trying to pass a few of my favorite games that seemed to never end.

Just an idea.  Should probably be easy enough to impliment.  Any programmers out there that could comment on the idea?

I think some games show how many credits have been entered in the service menu.
