Umm.. Snaaaake, read up on the Tombstone burners, they don't charge for Mame roms, they only charge for the CDs THEY use and the shipping YOU pay for them to send the cds to you. If you send them CDs, and you give them the money to ship them back, they'll burn em for you as well. It's just an easier way then finding all the roms yourself, and burning them onto CD. I got my roms through a Tombstone burner, they're a good bunch of guys.
Onto CD_Vision, man I've been following your page ever since I started my arcade project,
http://www.geocities.com/cthulhuluke/ and I've really gotten some useful information out of your site. THat one 2-player control panel you built for that guy is REALLLLY awesome looking. I think for my upcoming high school senior project I'm going to build a control panel, and I think I'm gonna design it almost identical to that. I'm not sure if I'm gonna keep it or sell it, but I have a year to build it, so I can do whatever I want with it after that year. I'm thinking it's gonna be the basic street fighter layout, wire it up to a PSX pad so I can use my convertors if needed, and maybe get one of those Psx- to -USB double controller port convertors, have plexi over the top, and have an awesome overlay on the control panel, like street fighter pictures and what not. I'll probably have loads of questions about building, because I think I'm gonna try having none of my dad's help on this one, so I can say I built it completely by myself ya know, although he's a ---smurfin--- pro at this ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---.
