What are the best Daphne games?
atog:
If you didn't play these as a kid, you aren't going to enjoy them. In 1983 they were cutting age technology, but poor game play. Today it's 20 year old technology AND poor game play.
I do get a kick out of Astron belt, just because it's funny to look at it now and think that when I was 13, I actually thought those were cool looking space ships.
RetroBorg:
Grab them all!
Howard_Casto:
Dragon's Lair 2 works just find in the wip builds of daphne, the scoreboard just isn't implimented.
I would suggest if you are paying real money for them NOT to purchase space ace, dl and dl2 from ths place. You can obtain them legally by ripping from the dvds (which you can get for a similar price from ebay, just be careful and make sure you get a "rippable" version as instructed on the daphne forums).
Imho you should NEVER pay for something that is illegal to begin with. But if you must, make sure you can't obtain them a more proper way first.
Mr. Dude:
My personal favorite was BadLands.... I don't think it's fully emulated for Daphne though.

DL1, DL 2, Space Ace, Cliff Hanger, and Super Don Quixote are the BEST. Astron Belt is good because it's a different kind of Laser Game than the others listed above, and it's fun.
These are the 6 I would buy.
By the way, the Sega CD game you liked was called Road Avenger. There were game like that for Segsa CD: Road Avenger, Time Gal, and Revenge of the Ninja. These games are very fun, and can be emulated using Gens, if you have the ISOs and MP3 files
