D9200 questions

I am thinking about getting an actual arcade monitor and I am considering either the D9200 or the Vision Pro 27" monitors.  While checking out the D9200 I noticed that Happs is charging a bit more than what you can find the D9200 for at the Wells Gardner site.  I guess Happs needs to make some money too.  I also noticed that there appear to be a couple different models of the D9200.  One model does 15/25/31 KHz and the other one does 31/38 KHz.  I believe the one Happs sells is the 15/25/31.

It's my understanding that some games run at 15 KHz so that is why I would choose this one instead of the 31/38 model, at least for authenticity.  I would still be able to run the 15 KHz games with a monitor that does not support that refresh rate, correct?  It looks like the Vision Pro does not support 15 KHz but I assume I would be able to play these games with this monitor, just not in their native refresh rate.

I see that Happs is having a sale on a Wells Gardner 27" monitor, part number 49-5203-10.  When searching for this number I get no matches on the Happs website.  I tried searching for the model number on the WG website with no luck.  Does anyone know anything about this monitor and why I can't find it at either site?

 I have similar questions. My cab is very tight But I may be able to fit a 27" in! I have about 24" wide.....and 19 deep....so its close....BUT.. the vison monitor looks smaller 23.75 wide i think and 19. somthing deep. BUT will it work for mame, and all other emus? will I be able to play xbox? I am confused with the ratest ie) 15, 31 etc.. i read 31 is the best and if it supports it the monitor can support all ssytems.. but what happens if a game needs 15?? will it still work? let me know. I know the WG is made to connct to a PC will the visions pro be the same as easy? I want to plug and play and not tinker with anyhing ANY where else to buy them? I AM in cANADA

You will wan't the 15/25/31Khz monitor as most arcade games emulated by MAME are 15Khz native.

You will still be able to run windows at a progressive "flicker free" 800x600 (some people can only get 640x480, on older model I think).

You can also use this monitor for consoles as long as you have a vga converter for them (or a hacked cable).

demonseed for a 27" monitor you would need at least 26in width and at least 24in depth.
dennisinMN i think that the d9200 15/25/31hz is a great monitor and as long as your using the vga plug your fine. i would suggest a AVGA card though as it brings out the very best in the d9200. the 31/38hz i believe is for the golden tee fore series replacement monitor but dont quote me.
