Is there anyway to get mamewah to start a game in magic engine(turbo grapx emu) with out it opening the magin engine enterface..  I just want it to load the rom.  Or do I need to switch emulators?  Thanks

I don't know for sure but I thought Magic Engine could be run from a commandline so it should work...you probably need to play around with the Long Filenames, Send ROM Path and Send ROM Extension settings.  I suggest you try to launch Magic Engine from a commandline first, so you know what you are doing...

I have been asked this question a few times before, and I setup magic engine just so I could answer - I really have not played it much yet.

Here is what my config looks like: (It is an older version of MW but that should not matter):
;EMULATOR OPTIONS
Emulator Title = Turbo Graphix
Emulator Executable = G:\Emulators\TurboGraphix\me098-english-demo\pce.exe
Default Options =
Extra Options #1 =
Extra Options #2 =
Show DOS Box = 0
Send ROM Path = True
Use Long Filenames = False
Send ROM Extension = True
DAT Filename =
NMS Filename =
CatVer Filename =
ROM Path = G:\Emulators\TurboGraphix\PCERen109a\PCERen\USA
ROM Extension = PCE
List Generation Method = 0

What the chating octoped details does work.  EXCEPT that you cannot use it to run CD games.  If you use the system card .pce, it will load the system card normally, but when you try to Start the CD game, it won't work.  This is an issue with MagicEngine itself.
