I have a complaint about the book
« on: June 15, 2004, 08:22:16 pm »
waited ages for amazon to pull the thumb out and deliver. book finally arrived.

i was already mid-build, but thought it would handy anyway!!!!

my complaint is that the bloody book is just too handy - refer to it a lot, kept it in the garage while cutting etc. now its all covered in dust, pages crumpled, footprints etc......... the book is JUST TO USEFUL!

not really a complaint......... just my 2p worth - now im off to write a glowing report on amazon!!!

thank for a great book

That's why you get 2 like I did.  One for the workshop and one for the bookcase.  ;)

i bought another copy - i had a party and setup my uncompleted cab to show off............ some bugger nicked the book - i hope they choke on the sawdust!!!!

of course if one of the partygoers suddenly has a homebuilt arcade cab........ i know who it was!

Yeah, within days of having bought mine the cover is starting to peel back and it's curling.  This book is not going to physically last and I'm pretty protective of my things.

BigNick, I don't think anyone is going to admit to giving you a copy in public, that would be illegal.

My book came damaged from the post office :(

My book came damaged from the post office :(

Mine had a crack in the CD.  I got if from Barnes and Nobles, locally. Fortunately, they had a second copy they let me exchange it for one with a good CD. First thing I did was make a backup and put the original on the shelf.

Someone actually took your book?
That's sad!
I hope you find out who did it.
Did you know everyone at the party or did one of your friends bring a guest?
If one of your friends brought someone, then maybe he or she took it.
Most likely it was a he that took it but I'm just assuming.

generic_eric the reason that I said a he probably took it is because more males are into mame.
I don't know what the percentages are but it's probably under 10% of females that are into or know about mame.
