Trade Joystick Handles
« on: August 01, 2002, 04:52:37 pm »
I'm looking to trade 2 red ball wico handles (3.5" shaft) for either blue or black ones. These are new and I'm looking for new/like new condition handles.

If a trade is not possible, I'm also interested in purchasing them.

I'm reluctant to swap my blue and black Wico handles for red ones as it was a lot of hassle getting hold of them. I actually prefer red, but I'd like to keep my options open.

However I would be interested in purchasing your red handles if they are new / nearly new and genuine Wico parts.

If you want black or blue handles then I would suggest you purchase complete joysticks from www.videoconnect.com. They still sell Wico joysticks in those colours. Unfortunately they wouldn't sell me red ones.....

If I sold my red handles, I would be handleless so I need to find something to take their place. Thanks though.

I take your point. However I might be interested in purchasing your complete joysticks if they are new. I've been after red Wicos for some time (preferably 4 way). I could match Video Connection's price ($10.95). Unfortunately I can only pay by Paypal.

Alternatively could you tell me where you bought them?

Thanks in advance

I bought them from this fellow named Alan at www.tngsales.com. They aren't listed on the site because he had limited quantity so they showed up on eBay occasionally. Anyway, they aren't 'official' Wico brand as far as I know but they seem to be of good quality. They're only 8-way though.

Although I haven't installed them in my cab yet, I did put one together and the response was nice and stiff. Has anyone here bought one from him and put them to the test?
