MAMEHOOKER Runtime error "9"; SubScript out of range

I am totally stuck with mamehooker.
Previously it works very well and  now  when it start , i have this  wonderful error :


Runtime error "9";
SubScript out of range


wonderful...
What  can i do? 

i already tried to reinstall it  but  it's not  ok.

I don't know if MH need  dependancies.. if  yes, which one ?

Did you try to launch as admin?

It was  a windows very rare system issue. after  i launched a cmd line to repair my system ( trough cmd terminal ) , everything went back to normal and  i could launch MH  normally.

Bad news! I've had this error again for 3 days. I reinstalled my PC (keeping my applications and data), reinstalled all Visual C++, even installed Direct files, I also did an sfc scan, I don't even know everything I did to try to fix this error 9 "subscript out of range". I even ask IA who tells me to install vb6 (something I can't do on my win10) and I even checked the main dll and ocx files, he suggests I check in my SysWow64 folder. @howard Casto, if you're in the area, I would like some advice because I'm completely stuck on this one! And the link to download Mamehooker no longer works on the website https://dragonking.arcadecontrols.com/simplephp/ccount/click.php?id=77 This ID doesn't exist!

anyone got this trouble as well ?

i tested everything right now! and  i think i am going to give up on mamehooker.

all my necessary dlls are there, i even managed to install directx9.0c using the safe mode ( only option on windows 10 ).

Subscript out of range is a generic windows error in regards to reading beyond the upward limit of a variable or array or something else read into the app.   It could be a million things, but it's often caused in mamehooker by either an improperly registered ocx (think ledwiz) or a scripting error.   I can't help your anymore than that, but for future reference it is never necessary to reinstall windows or anything that drastic to get mamehooker running.   It's just an app dude, make sure the app has everything it needs and you'll be fine.
