Restore Pacman Marquee
« on: May 06, 2004, 07:40:05 pm »
I have just acquired an original  Pacman plexi marquee on ebay. Unfortunately has a few small scratches on the back (mainly on the white sections). It looks ok until it is held up to a light. I was wondering if i could get some paint and touch up these scratches. Any suggestions on best type of paint to get to do this? thanks.

ha - very good....

but i assumed certain TYPES of paint go onto plexi better than others.

suppose i'll just visit a model shop and see if they got some matt enamel that matches the marquee colour.

just wanted to get the best match for the current backing paint on the marquee.

Don't sweat it too much.  The white on the back is mostly for diffusion.  You could use flat white.  The gloss comes from the plexi.

A very light spray of white should do the trick.
