Games work in MacMame but not Mame or Mame32
« on: May 06, 2004, 08:59:01 am »
I have a few roms (sf2 & clones, samsho3, samsho4, and a few others) that work perfectly fine in MacMame 0.77 but will not show up in Mame 0.81 or Mame32 0.80.  Is this something caused by the newer versions of Mame?  Is there anyway I can change the roms to make them work with the windows versions of Mame?  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I guess around MAME 80 they changed all (most) the neogeo roms...

You should be able to fix them using clrmame and rombuild

Use ClrMAMEPro, it will fix the names or whatever if at all possible.  Download it from www.clrmame.com, check the included docs or http://www.mameworld.net/easyemu/ for a guide.

You will wonder how you ever lived without it ;)
