Help making wheel work with spinner

I have a steering wheel I've never used that I now want to make work with my spinner. I THOUGHT I had the right wheel for my spinner, but it turned out to be a wheel for an Ultimarc spinner when I have a Tornado spinner. It doesn't fit...too small for the spinner shaft. So my choices are drill out the metal sleeve in the wheel until it snugly fits (there is no tightening screw), get or make some sort of adapter, or get a new wheel that fits my Tornado.

Any thoughts? TIA!
