  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
hi all, i would like to know if there is a way to update manually mame version inside GA?

i am using GA 2024 version which comes with mame 0.267 but i would like to update to the latest 0.283 if possible or 0.282 at least.

i triyed to update from the GA menu "system update" from which i read update to 0.282 would be performed, so i proceeded with the update, but  when the update ended and i restarted the pc,  GA no longer boots again with an "no such file or directory error" command line error

another question i have is if it is posible from a mame command or desktop linux setting to leave audio in "mono" format by default for al mame games? since the arcade machine have only one speaker,

btw i am not experienced with linux overall
thanks
