Positional Guns (Aliens) Solenoid....

Alright, getting the solenoids to activate for the aliexpress usb aliens extermination guns, I have never met so many digital hurdles in my life! (edited my post, i wrote way too much)

Im trying to get the solenoids to activate (and the led numerals would be nice).
Ive seen guides, brad d videos, posts on this forum with ini files and so on but I can't get to that step as mamehooker wont "see" the guns!

I am just trying to get the solenoid working for Alien 3 the gun (mame), house of the dead 2 (flycast) and Silent Hill the arcade (teknoparrot)

It takes a while for me for things to "sink in" but once ive got it im away but getting the solenoids to respond with mamehooker and demulshooter or whatever else is needed is really confusing me and am looking to try and get a definitive step-by-step help guide as looking around different forum topics, youtube videos etc, some methods only applicable to light guns, some methods out of date on an older demulshooter, am finding it difficult on whos advice to follow.

Its just the fact that mamehooker doesnt "see" these guns and most guides just tend to be for devices it can see is what im finding difficult.
I open demulshooter, and can configure the guns, set it to enable outputs, saved the config so demulshooter is ready with the guns. i start mamehooker and i try to add a new game or title, it finds silent hill the arcade but trying to add it theres nothing in the text box it is asking to name the rom etc.
when looking at mamehooker, its not recognising any devices so I cant get either to communicate with eachother.

Its annoying because most guides I see are about the file editing regarding the solenoid timings and things like that, i want to be at that stage so bad! I just cant get mamehooker to "see" the guns!

With the dragonking guide I get to step 4, show supported devices and I cant see them on there so thats as far as I got with that and thats with me running demulshooter.
Id really appreciate any help with this I just don't know why I cant seem to get very far with it.

The current version of mamehooker will never see those guns.... they aren't supported.   What it will do is blindly send commands to any usb HID device, which those guns happen to be.   There are more than a few people posting guides here on how you do it and I'll be doing a step by step when I find time.   It isn't difficult at all.

you are a genius with these things, so definitely easy for you. is there any way you would be willing to fly over here, tap on the keyboard a few times and set it up for me? haha

 im really struggling with it. the posts ive seen seem to get things running but im not sure if ive missed a step they have done or if something is specifically wrong with the setup that i cant seem to get mamehooker or demulshooter to do much at all.
im not even sure if demulshooter is running, or if to keep the gui open is that how it works?

am just posting this because what i have read i cant seem to get anywhere with it to get the guns "seen" by each of these programs to start configuring the outputs.

time is precious isnt it. thats why im starting trying to configure it in my spare time before halloween comes round, im expecting it to take me this long XD
