Custom panel for possible all arcade games
« on: February 04, 2024, 12:25:27 pm »
Recently I bought GRS Super joystick and I'm think close to have all required parts for building ultimate custom panel.

So far I have:

U360 joystick (programmable so 4 way, 8 way, analog (so suitable for Sinistar)

plenty of buttons (but I think 8 and 8 for second player (optionally)will be enough) plus buttons for functions

GRS Super joystick (as second joystick for two joystick games like Robotron but also for games like Ikari Warrios, Caliber 50 (can work as analog) and even games like Wild Western. It's technically suitable for Disc of Tron when rotary is set to analog

GRS spinner with push/pull (so suitable even for Zwackery, Disc of Tron, Forgotten Worlds) I'm planning to buy driving wheel as attachment

GRS Flight Stick two button version (planning as third one as only together with spinner for Zwackery, Disc of Tron and other bally Midway games)

Trackball 3 inch

Gun (I don't have any right now but I'm looking for good option right now). Some games are actually positional analog joysticks but this can be played in MAME with standard gun as well.

I have also Pacific AV8R (flight stick for PS3 but works with PC) for games like After Burner or Air Rescue. It's not ideal solution but would be hard to build a panel

Question is what I might miss? I don't play mahjong or any sports games. I'm not targetting for custom panels like with Battle Shark.
The only I miss is full driving controls I think. I'm using here thrust and transmission from AV8R and spinner as driving wheel.

Ideal would something like this but only joysticks and buttons for two players, I don't need two driving wheels:
