Megatouch XL 6000 Mame

I hadn’t updated MAME in a while but I saw that they made some improvements to their Megatouch emulation. I downloaded a newer version of MAME, but now my Megatouch XL 6000 rom is no longer working. The game loads up fine but in the bios it says “Keyboard Error Press F1”. I’m not sure how to do this within MAME. I tried looking around in the controls but I can’t seem to find anything. Any help is appreciated.
