MAME .123 rom set up and more
« on: October 15, 2023, 05:23:41 am »
I haven’t done this in 10yrs so just trying to find the right spots to look.

Trying to suss out mame 0.123 and ensure I have it set up right before I move onto mamewah.

Is there a place to triple check the .ini info etc.

Keep in mind that 0.123 is from Feb 2008. There have been countless bug fixes and performance improvements over the years.
You're free to use whatever version you want, of course, but it may be easier to find help with more recent builds.
The UI is vastly improved over old versions too, so you may not even want/need a front end anymore (although I use Launchbox/Big Box myself).
