Replace a LCD TV with a large Rambo Arcade Unit
« on: July 12, 2023, 10:27:02 am »
Hello!

I bought a Rambo Arcade unit shell. Much like the one in the link
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/314700676051?hash=item49459f3bd3:g:-4sAAOSwrUNkquH6
It seems this link has had a bit of a modification as my TV takes up the whole shelf

I am struggling on putting a newer flat LCD TV into this.
Any ideas or has anyone mounted a newer TV into a unit like this?

i did a similar machine that had a rear projection TV screen a while back... think it was a time crisis or something like that.

anyway, i gutted all the old tv stuff out, built a shelf in the cabinet out of plywood and 2x4's and placed the TV right on it... screwed the base down and made a couple wood supports on the left and right sides so it didn't flop around, and put a new piece of lexan plastic on the front.
