I pray it involves a step ladder and zip ties for the basement wiring.

I never worked on a black and white monitor before.

It was mostly fixing broken and bad traces. The PCB is fragile.

I also recapped it.

I didn't have a way to output a black and white composite signal in my shop.

So I grabbed an NES and made an adapter to plug it into the monitor.

And as with all of my work,

credit goes to Arroyo and Bperkins01 for help, and a kick in the ass when needed.

I recently drove to Des Moines, Iowa for an arcade auction. The auction sucked balls, but we found this place. #worthit.

The power brick was pretty crusty.

Some percussive maintenance was necessary to bag things into shape.

It looks much better now and it outputs all of the correct voltages.

Some people really clean up the transformer. I don't like to mess with it too much.

I messed with the AR board.

The 5v line is showing 14V. Hmmmm not good.

Probably the 5v regulator. Stay tuned...

Nice to see some more action over there.
You still have room for more cabinets?

No room is safe from conversion at Mikey’s place.
