Rowe AMI R-82 with 601-07666 Memory Unit
« on: March 06, 2023, 03:40:43 pm »
Hi All

I have been repairing this Jukebox and when I started looking for the Continuous Autoplay switch discovered that
the Memory unit belongs to an earlier R-81 Jukebox.

My questions is:
Was there a way that Cont Autoplay was affected in the earlier model, or is this
only since R-82. (with the 301-07855 Memory Unit) ?

Did find a hand written note tucked into the controls that I have not deciphered yet.
It Reads:
Quote
Modification for bypass selector logic memory boards.
Mech Control.  One end of CR802 lifted.

----->
     Pin5 (Red) + Pin9(White/Green) shorted
     Pin3 (Orange) + Pin13(White/Violet)

------->  J.801

Now that I have the R82 working correctly I don't want to chase ghosts if the above has nothing to do
with Cont Autoplay.

Regards
