Helping a friend bring this monitor back from the dead.
No neck glow, fuses were good.
Figured I'd do a cap kit, but one couldn't be found.
Took some high res pictures to make a cap map and saw that B+ solder joint was cracked all the way around.
Reflowed both boards and it fired right up, decent pic once I got the hold and linearity pots dialed in and the screen on the flyback turned down.
Bottom looks a little squished but there's a jumper for 'narrow' or 'wide' on the board which might effect that, and I haven't toughed the H width coil yet.
I put together a cap list so I can replace the clearly original caps even thought visually they look ok.
Now, I'd like to check the B+ but not sure where to measure it.
Clearly the VR801 adjusts it and I'm assuming the words "ADJ 115 V" might mean what it's supposed to be set at.
Since there's no documentation on this, that's all I have to go on.
Cap list is anyone is interested...
