It's been 5 years since I've really been on here regularly.
My Vertical Retrace machine has been up and running fine and I just haven't had time to do another build.
But now I'll be replacing the PC in my Vertical Retrace cabinet for the 2nd time. I'll be making a couple changes but staying pretty much the same. The Kortek 29" Vertical CRT stays but the Arcade VGA card is going away (no ago slot)
I'm also thinking about a new build of a vertical cocktail style machine with a modern flair.
It's good to see some of the great work that continues to go here. Also good to see some of the old timers are still here.

A standard AMD card with GroovyMAME is better than ArcadeVGA anyway. ArcadeVGA was always snake oil.

Yeah, but it's worked well for a number of years but yeah, I'm gonna run GroovyMAME now

Arcadevga was a standard amd card with a bios flash.
